Morriston Primary School is a local authority maintained school which serves the area of Morriston in Swansea. The school is a 3-11 primary school and includes a nursery, a Specialist Teaching Facility (STF), made up of 2 classes, catering for pupils with Statements of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and an Observation and Assessment Unit (OAU). Children are admitted to the nursery, on a part-time basis, after their third birthday. There are currently over 200 pupils on roll. The school aims `to provide a learning environment that is happy, secure, caring and stimulating where the child has a clear sense of belonging; to ensure that pupils receive a broad and balanced curriculum, that is matched to their stage of development and is an amalgam of learning strategies to allow them to achieve their full potential. Our vision is encapsulated in Article 29 - Your right to be the best you can. We aim to enhance the experiences and enhance the aspirations of all pupils through a varied curriculum and rich learning experiences.
