Welcome To Year 3
From Mrs Evans and Mr Hopkins
Punctuality: School begins at 8:50am and the children should assemble in the Year 2 Yard. On wet days the classroom will be open at 8:40am. If your child comes in from 9:00am onwards, you must register your child at the main office.
- Reading books to be brought in on any day for changing. Once completed, please comment in your child’s reading record.
- Spelling words given on a Friday with a check up on following Friday.
- Math’s work based on current topic given on a Friday, handed in by following Friday.
- Other homework linked to topics may be given at various dates throughout the year.
Tuesday (outdoor) Tracksuit and trainers.
Thursday (indoor) T-shirts and shorts.
Wednesday and Friday the children will take part in Running Club.
NO JEWELLERY TO BE WORN ON THESE DAY
Can your child bring in a bottle of fresh drinking water daily, NOT squash or juice, as it helps with concentration when they are fully hydrated which impacts on school work.
Coats and Uniforms: It would help our stress levels if all clothes are clearly labelled.
We both hope the above information is helpful but please be aware that it's neither exhaustive nor rigid and that some changes are inevitable. If there are any aspects of your child's education that you wish to discuss please do not hesitate to contact us.
