Following another very successful 2013-14 year, I am pleased to say that we have achieved many of our goals. Personally, I feel proud of many of our achievements. I wrote last year about my aim to ensure the children feel happy, safe and secure at school, and wanting each child to experience success. We are certainly achieving this aim, and in some cases, even exceeded our own expectations!

As I reflect on my third year at Craigfelen, this is probably what I am most proud of. The feedback I have received from pupils and parents indicates that we are part of a very happy and successful school.

The children are happy and relaxed at school, yet know our expectations and how they need to believe in themselves to achieve thier best. We have offered an extremely wide range of activities, inclusing chess, sailing, street dance and even fishing! We have found talented children in so many areas.

Finally I would like to reassure you that I continue to have the determination and dedication to lead the school to new levels of excellence. As always, my door is always open to you.

Here’s to a fantastic 2014-15!
