The first Wednesday of every month

12pm with Mrs Reynolds and Mrs Brownlie

Year 2 – Year 6

We are very lucky to have fantastic grounds in Clase Primary - woodland, allotment space, planters containing flowers, vegetables and herbs and themed castle and cottage gardens. When in bloom, the space looks spectacular! Getting our gardens looking great takes lots of hard work all year round.

If you enjoy working in the garden growing and caring for our vegetables, herbs and flowers, please come along to gardening club on the first Wednesday of every month.

Swansea In Bloom - Going for Gold!!!

This year, our green-fingered gardening skills and hard work paid off when we won first place in the prestigious Swansea in Bloom competition.

The theme this year was ‘This Sea Town was my world’, commemorating 100 years since the birth of Dylan Thomas. Our eco-committee led the project which included all pupils, from nursery up to year six. The children grew plants and vegetables from seeds and cuttings, looking after them as they grew. Some pupils worked hard at home to create fantastic sea-side themed gardens. We also had help from parents and friends in our community who helped to get our gardens looking great!
